Storm Rats is a narrative/resource TTRPG that uses a deck of cards to imagine a gritty sci-fi world dominated by an eternal storm. You play a crew of rat-people that make their living diving into a cosmic storm that swirls endlessly beneath Rattenkönig Station. Within the Maelstrom, countless ships rot in the swirling gyres of the eternal storm. The salvage that you wrestle from them is the only thing that is keeping your crew afloat.
This game uses a unique system that treats character stats like resources that can be spent and gathered in unique ways. Each Rat has their own unique way of interacting with one of these resources. Together, your crew must decide how to marshal your resources, or hide them from one another to increase your own.

Love the mechanic for players to play cards against each other to solve disputes. Also, a really cool setting that I would love to try sometime :)
I absolutely love the vibes of this! The gritty scrapper vibes are a personal favorite of mine in any source of fiction so it fulfills a personal fantasy of mine.
I also love the system itself, the utilization of a deck of cards is a system I'm not quite used to in a collaborative narrative-based game so it's really cool to see alternative type of ttrpg!
I also love the dwindling 'Faculties' throughout the game, it really hammers home the vibe of a gritty life of pure survival on a derelict scrap heap in the middle of space.
I can't wait for the opportunity to play!
